Lumumba’s  Jungle Courage and Clever Trick

The Peafowl’s Peril

As Jade and Ruby stomp through the forest, their greed leads them to a Congo Peafowl—a rare and dazzling bird with rainbow-like plumage. Ruby whispers, “We’ll make a fortune!” She grabs her net, ready to strike.

But Lumumba’s sharp eyes spot the danger. His heart pounds. This bird is more than a creature—it’s a symbol of his home’s beauty.

A Clever Distraction

Just as Ruby lunges, a sudden burst of activity fills the canopy. Gray parrots squawk and flap in a flurry, startling the Peafowl, which escapes into the dense underbrush.

“What was that?” Ruby growls, looking around.

Unbeknownst to her, Lumumba had tossed a rock into the bushes, causing the parrots to scatter. His quick thinking saved the Peafowl from becoming another victim of greed.

The Forest Watches

Jade fumes, “These damned birds have cost us a fortune!” But Lumumba smiles quietly. He knows the forest has allies in unexpected places.

Though he feels alone, Lumumba’s courage burns brightly. “The forest sees all,” he whispers to himself, vowing to protect its treasures, no matter what.

As the team of Jade and Ruby advances deeper inside, the scent of crushed leaves and earth fills the air, evidence of their destructive trail.

With sharp tools in hand, they etch their malicious plans onto the bark of the Prunus Africana trees.

Startled, the peaceful Gray Parrots fly away while the Bonobos watch in surprise. With their keen jungle instincts, they all sense the danger lurking nearby, threatening their safety.

Lumumba whispers to himself, “These people are greedy, like a crocodile. They are blind to the spirit of the Congo. All they care about is money.”

Yet, Congo’s beauty–its natural charm remains unblemished, regardless of the looming hazard of destruction.
